Bromo Ijen Midnight Tour from Surabaya (2D1N)
TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: SURABAYA TO MOUNT BROMO (MIDNIGHT TOUR) – ACCOMMODATION IN BANYUWANGI
Bromo midnight tour from Surabaya will start at 00.00 hours from your hotel in the Surabaya area. Then, we will drive from Surabaya to Mount Bromo for about 3 hours. Upon your arrival in the Mount Bromo area, you will head to your jeep where the jeep will bring you to the most popular sunrise point, which we named Penanjakan hill. From this hill, you will see the most enchanting sunrise in East Java with Mount Bromo, Batok, and Semeru as a background. The sun will rise at 5.20 AM here. After you enjoy the scenery from this hill and we will back to your jeep for going to the sea of sand before you do trekking to the top of Mount Bromo. We will stop at the parking area then you will cross the sea of sand by riding a horse or on foot (it is optional) until you reach the stairs at the slope of Mt. Bromo which will lead you to reach the peak of Mt. Bromo. When you have reached the peak of Mount Bromo, you will see the volcanic activity made by Mount Bromo, volcanic sounds even volcanic ashes coming out of its hole. After enjoying Mount Bromo from its peak, you should back to your jeep and then have breakfast. Afterward, we will continue our journey to your hotel in Banyuwangi. The journey will take about 5 hours, we will stop at the local restaurant for our lunch break. About at late afternoon or in the early evening, we will reach your hotel in the area of in crater then overnight stay before you enjoy Ijen Crater trekking the next morning.

DAY 2: IJEN CRATER TOUR – YOUR HOTEL IN BALI
Ijen Crater tour will start at 04.00 in the morning, our car will bring us to Paltuding where we will start our trekking to Ijen crater.The journey will take about an hour from your hotel to Paltuding. We will start the tour from Paltuding (1835m) to Ijen Crater (2385m), the distance is 3 km and it will take about 1,5 hours walk.

Upon your arrival on the top of Ijen Crater, you will see the best landscape on earth. You will see the biggest sulfur lake with its turquoise color and you will see some mountains around Ijen Crater too. Besides the view of Ijen crater and surrounding, you will see the sulfur workers/miners who walk up and down to carry the block of sulfurs, sometimes it reaches up to 90 kg on their shoulders and they only get paid USD 8 /day. It depends on how many kgs of sulfur they can carry. After you enjoy the view on the top of Ijen Crater, we will go back to Paltuding and then go back to our hotel for taking shower before you continue your trip to your Hotel in Bali

OPTIONAL PROGRAM:
If the weather is good enough and your condition is still good as well, you can take Ijen blue fire tour but you are required to leave the hotel around 00:30 AM or Midnight.
