BALI PEMUTERAN – IJEN CRATER TOUR – MOUNT BROMO TOUR – SURABAYA (3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS)

GLANCE OF THE TOUR:
Pemuteran is one area in Bali Island that located in the western part of the Island. It’s very close to Gilimanuk Harbor where people continue their holiday to Java Island or they are coming from Java and visit Bali Island. Most of the travellers visit Pemuteran area is for snorkelling, diving or just wanted to explore western part of Bali Island.

Because of the that, we try to offer a short three days trip to explore the most active and beautiful volcanoes in East Java. The route will start from Pemuteran and ending in Surabaya area (you can end here if you have another plan to visit another areas in Java Island), or we can travel back to Pemuteran again or any area in Bali. TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Pick up service from Pemuteran Bali to the Hotel in Ijen Crater area

Ijen Bromo Tour from Bali will start at 11:00 AM (Balinese timezone), our staff will pick you up from your hotel in Pemuteran, Bali. Then you will drive to Gilimanuk Ferry Port, it will take about ± 30 minutes drive. Afterward, you will take the ferry for about an hour to reach Ketapang Ferry Port. Then, we will escort you to a local restaurant for having lunch then continue our trip to your hotel in Banyuwangi area for an enjoyable stay before you do a tour in Ijen crater on the next morning.

Day 2: Ijen Crater Tour – Hotel in Mount Bromo area

Ijen crater tour will start about 4:00 AM, our car will bring us to the village of Licin and then continue to the slope of Ijen Crater, you will be passing through the plantations and rainforest. This is one of few remaining on the island of Java with giant ferns, plants & big trees. This journey takes approximately an hour from the hotel. Arriving at the parking area of Ijen Crater, about 1 until 1.5 hours will be required to hike Ijen Crater. Along the walking path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air and bird’s singing. Upon your arrival at the peak of Ijen Crater with an altitude of about 2385 mAsl. You will be amazed at the enchanting panorama of Ijen Crater; it has the lake of acid water where the water changes to be turquoise color. The view will be so picturesque when you take a photo from above the crater. Besides the view, you will see the sulfur miners where they go down into the crater to take the yellow sulfur rock and climb back up by passing a dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous and hard job. After enjoying the enchanting scenery at Crater of Ijen Crater then we will go down to the parking area where our car is waiting for escorting you to the next destination, that is Mount Bromo, we will drive for about 5-6 hours. We will pass the local villages, coffee plantation, rice field, and Pasir Putih coastline. You will be invited to have lunch at the local restaurant. Upon your arrival in Mount Bromo area, you will stay in lava view hotel or similar hotel for an enjoyable stay before you do Bromo sunrise tour.

OPTIONAL PROGRAM:
If the weather is good enough and you still have good condition, you can take Blue fire ijen tour at Ijen Crater but you are required to leave from the Homestay around 1:00 AM or Midnight. Please check the picture of the blue fire at Ijen Crater on the Internet.

Day 3: Bromo Tour – Surabaya

Mount Bromo tour will start around at 3:30 AM (when you come to Mount Bromo on the weekend, we have to start the tour earlier), the jeep will bring you to the most famous viewpoint on Mount Bromo area. That is Penanjakan hill, from the hill we can see the best sunrise in East Java with mountains and volcanoes as a background. Afterward, the jeep will continue your adventure holiday to reach the sea of sands in Mount Bromo area. We will stop at the parking area then you will cross the sea of sands by riding a horse or on foot (it is optional) till reaching the stairs at the slope of Mount Bromo where it will lead you to reach a peak of Mt. Bromo. After enjoying the volcanic activity on the top of Mount Bromo, you have to go back to your jeep then the jeep will bring you back to a hotel for breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags into our car afterward we will continue our trip to Surabaya. The trip will take about 3-4 hours.
