BALI – KAWAH IJEN PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR – BALI  (2D1N)

DAY 1: BALI – ACCOMMODATION IN BANYUWANGI

Kawah Ijen photography tour will start at about 10:00 AM (Balinese timezone), our staff will pick you up from your hotel in Bali. Then you will drive to Gilimanuk Ferry Port, it will take about ±4 hours (depending on your location in Bali). Afterward, you will take the ferry for about an hour to reach Ketapang Ferry Port (Java side). Upon your arrival at Ketapang Ferry Port, we will escort you to your hotel in the Banyuwangi area. Banyuwangi is the best town to stay in when you are going to visit Ijen Crater because it’s only an hour away from Ijen Crater.

Gilimanuk Ferry Port to Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, Jimbaran, Denpasar (±4-5 Hours Drive)
Lovina (±2 Hours Drive) and Pemuteran (± 30 Minutes Drive)

DAY 2: KAWAH IJEN PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR – YOUR ACCOMMODATION IN BALI

The trip will start at about 00:15 AM, our car will bring you to the Paltuding area, Paltuding is a starting point before you do trekking to Kawah Ijen. Upon your arrival in the Paltuding area, you will be required to prepare what you need for the trip.  You will be needing 2 hours until you will reach the blue flame point and the path to reach the blue flame point is so slippery and rocky so you must listen to our guide’s guidance. You will be invited to go to the best spot where you can take the best photo for your work. You will be amazed by the natural phenomenon of the blue flame here because it’s so rare and you can only see it in Indonesia and Ethiopia. The gas mask is very important here due to the sulphuric gas that can come to you anytime depending on the wind blows.

After taking the best moment at the bottom of the volcano, we will invite you to visit the sunrise point in Ijen Crater where you can see the 180 views of Kawah Ijen. Fly your drone and capture the best view of the biggest sulphuric lake in Indonesia during the sunrise is the best moment ever.

Afterward, we will invite you to the miner’s area, where the miner will bring the basket of sulfur and drop it in the manual trolley. it’s kind of hard work and they only get around 10 USD / day. After taking photos of all the sides of Ijen Crater, we will go down to Paltuding area for going back to our hotel and go back to Bali afterward.
