MOUNT BROMO SUNRISE TOUR FROM BALI 3D2N
DAY 1: BALI – HOTEL IN BROMO AREA
The Mount Bromo tour will start at about 7:00 AM (Balinese time zone) and it will be your long drive from Bali to Bromo. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the Bali area (the detail of the journey is below), and we will escort you to Gilimanuk Ferry Port, Afterward, we will take the ferry for about an hour to reach Ketapang Ferry Port (Java side). Upon your arrival in Ketapang Ferry Port, we will escort you to a local restaurant for lunch and then continue our trip to Mount Bromo about a 5-6 hour drive.

DAY 2: SUNRISE IN ROGOWULAN HILL – KINGKONG HILL – PEAK OF MOUNT BROMO – MADAKARIPURA WATERFALL – SUNSET IN METIGEN/SERUNI HILL
The sunrise tour in Rogowulan Hill will start at 2:30 am, we will drive by Jeep for about 40 minutes to King Kong Hill, and then we will ride a motorbike for about 40 minutes until we reach the top of Rogowulan Hill. When you are reaching the top of this hill, you will be amazed at the landscape here, you can see the Cemara Lawang village (where you are staying), Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and the highest volcano of Mount Semeru as its background. It will be super beautiful during the sunrise trip. After taking pictures for a moment here, we will be heading back to Kingkong hill, and we will be staying here for a while to take another picture before we do the trekking to the top of Mount Bromo
NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO RIDE A MOTORBIKE TO REACH HIDDEN HILL, WE CAN STAY AT THE COMMON SUNRISE HILL, WHICH IS KINGKONG HILL/SERUNI HILL. ANYWAY, THE MOTORBIKE COMES WITH THE DRIVER, SO WE JUST SIT AT THE BACK.
Around 7 am, we will get back to our jeep and go to the start point of the trek. The trek to Mount Bromo takes about 45 minutes. You just need to follow the sandy path and take 200 stairs to reach the top of Mount Bromo. It was a super narrow path to walk when you are on the top of Mount Bromo, so you must be really careful.
At about 9 am, we have to go back to the hotel to have breakfast and continue to Madakaripura Waterfall for a refresher after a hectic morning in Mount Bromo. It’s time to play with water at the waterfall.
It takes an hour’s drive from Mount Bromo until we reach the parking area of Madakaripura waterfall, then we will take a motorbike taxi for about 10 minutes and then walk for about 10 minutes.
After enjoying the waterfall, we will return to our hotel for rest, change into warm clothes, and we will escort you to Meigen Hill to watch a sunset.
DAY 3: SUNRISE IN SERUNI HILL – TRANSFER TO BALI
Last day of the trip, we will be starting at 4 am from our hotel and we will go to Seruni Hill for the sunrise trip, it will be a short trek of about 20 minutes uphill but the view here is amazing to catch the sunrise.
After catching the sunrise, we will be walking around the village the take a photo of Cemara Lawang Village where most of the locals here are farming spring onions, carrots, potatoes and etc. So it’s a good landscape as well to take.
Around 9 am after having breakfast, we will continue our trip to Bali, it will take about 5-6 hours away to reach the Ketapang Ferry Port, then an hour sailing by Ferry and driving 4-5 hours to reach your hotel, depending on the location of your hotel in Bali.
