WHAT MAKES THIS TOUR INTERESTING?
This tour designed for any travellers who stay in Malang Town and want to explore Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen within three days. This trip will end in Bali Island and from Malang Town, you can start in the morning or afternoon, it’s flexible but if you want to see Madakaripura Waterfall on the way to Mount Bromo, we suggest starting in the morning, it can be at 9-10 am. TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Pick up service from Malang – Accommodation in the Mount Bromo area

Bromo Ijen tour will start at about 10:00 AM (depending on your schedule too), our staff will pick you up in Malang area (Airport, Hotel or Train Station). And then, we will drive to Mount Bromo area for about 3-4 hours. Upon your arrival in Mount Bromo area, we will escort you to the hotel in Mount Bromo area for an enjoyable stay before you do a tour in Mount Bromo.

OPTIONAL PROGRAM:

If you can start in the morning & the weather good enough, you will have a chance to visit Madakaripura Waterfall during the way from Malang to your hotel in Mount Bromo area. Please check the picture of Madakaripura waterfall on the Internet

Day 2: Bromo Tour – Accommodation in Banyuwangi area

Mount Bromo tour will be started around at 3:30 AM (when you come to Mount Bromo on the weekend, we have to start the tour earlier), the jeep will bring you to the most famous viewpoint on Mount Bromo area. That is Penanjakan hill, from the hill we can see the best sunrise in East Java with mountains and volcanoes as a background. Afterward, the jeep will continue your adventure holiday to reach the sea of sands in Mount Bromo area.

We will stop at the parking area then you will cross the sea of sands by riding a horse or on foot (it is optional) till reaching the stairs at the slope of Mount Bromo which will lead you to reach the peak of Mt. Bromo. After enjoying the volcanic activity on the top of Mount Bromo, you have to go back to your jeep then the jeep will bring you back to the hotel for breakfast, take shower, pack up, loading bags into our car afterward we will continue our trip to our pointed accommodation in Ijen Crater area for about 5-6 hours. In this route, we will pass rural landscapes, small cities, rice fields, & small villages, we also make stop for lunch along th way.

About late afternoon or in the early evening, we will be reaching your accommodation in Ijen Crater area (Banyuwangi Town) which is only an hour & 30 minutes away from Ijen Crater. You will be staying overnight here before you enjoy Ijen Crater trekking on the next morning.

Day 3: Ijen Crater Tour – Your Hotel in the Bali area

Ijen Crater tour will be started about 4:00 AM, our car will bring us to the village of Licin and then continue to the slope of Ijen Volcano, you will be passing through the plantations and rainforest. This is one of few remaining on the island of Java with giant ferns, plants & big trees. This journey takes approximately an hour from the hotel.

OPTIONAL PROGRAM:

If the weather is good enough and you have still good condition, you will have the chance to see the blue flame or blue fire & the sunrise at Ijen Crater but you are required to leave from the Homestay around 00:30 AM or Midnight. 

Upon your arrival at the parking area of Ijen Crater, about 1, 5 hours will be required to reach the peak of Ijen Crater or Ijen Volcano. Along the walking path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air and bird’s singing. Upon your arrival at the peak of Ijen Crater with an altitude of about 2385 mAsl. You will be amazed at the enchanting panorama of Ijen Crater; it has the lake of acid water where the water changes to be turquoise color. The view will be so picturesque when you take a photo from above the crater. Besides the view, you will see the sulfur miners where they go down into the crater to take the yellow sulfur rock and climb back up by passing a dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders.

This is really a dangerous and hard job. After enjoying the enchanting scenery at Crater of Ijen Crater then we will go down to the parking area where our car is waiting for escorting you to the plantations (coffee and clove) before the town of Banyuwangi. Afterward, we will be back to the town of Banyuwangi for going back to Hotel and take our bags then we will drive to Ketapang Ferry Port then take a ferry to reach Gilimanuk Ferry Port at the most western tip of Bali Island. Upon arrival in Gilmanuk Ferry port, our Bali driver will wait for you then escort you to your booked hotel in Bali area. TOUR’S SERVICES FINISHED.
