TOUR ITINERARY

SURABAYA – BROMO TOUR – IJEN BLUE FIRE TOUR – BANYUWANGI AIRPORT (4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS)

DAY 01: SURABAYA – HOTEL IN MT. BROMO AREA

We will meet you at the Airport, Train Station, or hotel in Surabaya, and then we drive to the Mount Bromo area for about 3-4 hours. Upon your arrival in the Mt Bromo area, we will escort you to the hotel in the Mt. Bromo area for an enjoyable stay.

OPTIONAL PROGRAM:
If you can start in the morning & the weather is good enough, you will have a chance to visit Madakaripura Waterfall on the way from Surabaya to your hotel in the Mt. Bromo area. Please check the picture of Madakaripura waterfall on the Internet

DAY 02: MT. BROMO SUNRISE TOUR – HOTEL IN BANYUWANGI AREA

Mount Bromo tour will start at 3:00 AM from your hotel and then the jeep will bring you to the world’s most famous viewpoints, those are Penanjakan and Kingkong hill, it’s located on the rim of the Tengger caldera (2,700m). From here, you can see the enchanting sunrise with the amazing scenery of Mount Bromo, Batok, and Semeru. After you have enjoyed the view here, we will go back to the jeep then the jeep will continue our adventure to reach the sea of sands in the Mt. Bromo area. We will stop at the parking area then you will cross the sea of sands by riding a horse or on foot (it is optional) till reach the stairs up at the slope of Mt. Bromo which will lead you to reach the peak of Mt. Bromo. At about 8:00 AM, the Jeep will bring you back to the hotel for breakfast, take shower, pack, loading bags into our van, and then we will continue our trip to the Hotel in the area of Ijen Crater for about 5 hours. On this route, we will pass rural landscapes, small cities, rice fields, plantations, and beaches. Lunch will be served on the way at the Local restaurant. In the late afternoon or in the early evening, we will reach your hotel in the Banyuwangi area. Then, stay overnight before you enjoy the Ijen Crater trekking the next morning.

DAY 03: IJEN BLUE FIRE  TOUR – HOTEL IN BANYUWANGI

Ijen blue fire tour will start at 1:00 AM, our car will bring you to Paltuding (1850m) area, Paltuding is the parking area in Ijen Crater (2386m) where you will start the trekking. This journey takes approximately 1 hour from the hotel in Banyuwangi by jeep. Arriving at the parking area of Mount Ijen, approximately 1, 5 hours will be required to ascend the slope of Mount Ijen to reach the peak of Ijen Crater but to see the blue flame we need to climb the crater down around 30 minutes (sport and hiking shoes required). When you arrived at the bottom of the crater of Ijen Volcano, you will see the amazing view of the Blue flame everybody said, it is only two in the world (only in Ijen Volcano and Dallol volcano in Ethiopia).

When the sun rises, you will be invited to climb the crater up to enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shade. Rest on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2385 meters and enjoy the best panorama of the lake of acid water which reflects the spectacular view in the surrounding walls that gives the impression of doom. The sulfur miners go down into the crater and climb back up by passing a dangerous path on the edge of the Ijen crater with a load of as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous and hard job. Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen crater is one of God’s amazing creations. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth. After enjoying the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then descend the slope of Mount Ijen until the vehicle’s parking area where our vehicle is waiting for escorting you to the plantations (coffee and clove). Afterward, we will be back to the town of Banyuwangi for having breakfast and rest in your hotel.

OPTIONAL PROGRAM:
If you are interested in local coffee and local food in Banyuwangi town, we will invite you to do a coffee experience tour where you will see the process of the best coffee bean traditionally in java (Roasting, Grinding, and Serving). Moreover, the best Java Coffee is from here. After enjoying the coffee experience, you will be invited to have dinner with the local food from here; you will feel the traditional and simple life here. We will start at the hotel at about 3.00 PM.

DAY 04: HOTEL IN BANYUWANGI – TREKKING AND BATHING IN THE JAGIR WATERFALL – TRANSFER TO BANYUWANGI AIRPORT, TRAIN STATION. OR FERRY PORT

After having breakfast around 7:00 am, we will invite you to visit the waterfall nearby the hotel, it takes about 25 minutes to drive. Along the way to the waterfall, you will see the green landscape of the rice fields and other things. Upon your arrival at a waterfall, you have to walk a bit down for 70 meters. You will be amazed by the waterfall and you can do bathing as well. After enjoying the waterfall here, we will escort you to get back to the town for buying any souvenirs or special cakes from Banyuwangi town. Then, back to the hotel and check out around 11:00 am, check out, and drive to Airport, Train Station, or Ferry port.
