TOUR ITINERARY

BALI SANUR – IJEN CRATER TOUR – MOUNT BROMO TOUR – SURABAYA (3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS)

Day 1: Pick up service from Sanur Bali – Accommodation in Ijen Crater area

Ijen Bromo tour from Bali will start at 10:00 AM (Balinese timezone), our staff will pick you up from your hotel in Sanur, Bali. Then you will drive to Gilimanuk Ferry Port, which will take about ±4-5 hours. Afterward, you will take the ferry for about an hour to reach Ketapang Ferry Port. Then, we will escort you to a local restaurant for lunch and then continue our trip to your hotel in the Banyuwangi area for an enjoyable stay before you do a tour in Ijen Crater the next morning.

Day 2: Ijen Crater Tour – Accommodation in the Mount Bromo area

Ijen Crater tour will start at about 4:00 AM, our car will take us to the village of Licin and then continue to the slope of Ijen Crater, you will be passing through the plantations and rainforest. This is one of few remaining on the island of Java with giant ferns, plants & big trees. This journey takes approximately an hour from the hotel.

OPTIONAL PROGRAM:
If the weather is good enough and you have a good condition for trekking at night, you can take the Ijen Blue Fire Tour at Ijen Crater but you are required to leave the Hotel or Homestay around 00:30 AM or Midnight. Please check the picture of the blue fire at Ijen Crater on the Internet.

Arriving at the parking area of Ijen Crater, about 1 to 1.5 hours will be required to hike Ijen Crater. Along the walking path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air and birds singing. Upon your arrival at the peak of Ijen Crater with an altitude of about 2385 mAsl. You will be amazed at the enchanting panorama of Ijen Crater; it has a lake of acid water where the water changes to be turquoise color. The view will be so picturesque when you take a photo from above the crater. Besides the view, you will see the sulfur miners who go down into the crater to take the yellow sulfur rock and climb back up by passing a dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with a load of as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is a dangerous and hard job. After enjoying the enchanting scenery at Crater of Ijen Crater then we will go down to the parking area where our car is waiting to escort you to the next destination, that is Mount Bromo, we will drive for about 5-6 hours with some stops for lunch or stretching out.

Day 3: Mount Bromo Tour – Surabaya

The Mount Bromo tour will start around 3:30 AM (when you come to Mount Bromo on the weekend, we have to start the tour earlier), the jeep will bring you to the most famous viewpoint in the Mount Bromo area. That is Kingkong Hill, from the hill we can see the best sunrise in East Java with mountains and volcanoes as a background. Afterward, the jeep will continue your adventure holiday to reach the sea of sands in the Mount Bromo area. We will stop at the parking area then you will cross the sea of sands by riding a horse or on foot (it is optional) till reach the stairs at the slope of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach the peak of Mt. Bromo. After enjoying the volcanic activity on the top of Mount Bromo, you have to go back to your jeep then the jeep will bring you back to a hotel for breakfast, take a shower, pack, loading bags into your car afterward we will continue our trip to Surabaya. The trip will take about 3-4 hours.
