TOUR ITINERARY;

YOGYAKARTA – BOROBUDUR TEMPLE TOUR – YOGYAKARTA CITY TOUR – JOMBLANG CAVE – TIMANG BEACH (4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS)

DAY 1: YOGYAKARTA – ACCOMMODATION IN BOROBUDUR AREA

Our Yogyakarta tour will be started from Yogyakarta Airport, our team will meet you at the airport then we will drive from Yogyakarta to your hotel Borobudur temple area for about 1,5-2 hours, upon your arrival in the Borobudur temple area, you will be staying overnight there before you do Borobudur sunrise tour tomorrow morning.

DAY 2: SETUMBU HILL SUNRISE TOUR  – BOROBUDUR TEMPLE – PRAMBANAN TEMPLE – YOGYAKARTA CITY TOUR – ACCOMMODATION IN YOGYAKARTA AREA

The second day of the trip will start at 4:30 a.m. from your stay in the Borobudur Temple area, and we will go to Setumbu Hill to watch the sunrise. Setumbu Hill is a viewpoint situated to the northwest of Borobudur, and it offers a stunning panoramic view of the temple, mountains, and its surroundings. This hill is very famous for some photographers because you can see the top of Borobudur temple at sunrise (if the weather allows).

Upon your arrival around 5:00 AM, our local team will help you navigate the best viewpoints on Setumbu Hill, Setumbu Hill is not a difficult hike, the trek takes about 10 minutes from the parking place, and you should reach the viewpoint just before sunrise.

Once you’ve reached the viewpoint on Setumbu Hill, you can enjoy the breathtaking sunrise view of Borobudur Temple and the surrounding landscape. The misty morning atmosphere adds to the mystique of the experience. This is a fantastic spot for photography, so be sure to bring your camera or smartphone to capture the incredible scenery.

fter enjoying the sunrise and taking in the beauty of the temple from far side, we will drive to Borobudur Temple where we will entering Borobudur Temple till the top of the temple with special ticket that purchased before.

This is new regulation from the Borobudur Management to avoid mass tourism and destruction of its temple’s contraction. You will get special shoes and bag before heading up to the temple, you will be joining a group every session the  tour, mostly we have 1h to explore around the temple. On the top of temple area, your local guide will show you the reliefs & stupas, you can also walk around as your wish but you will be not allowed to sit or even climb up at the Stupas.

Around 10:00 am, we will back to the accommodation for breakfast and after that, you should be ready with all your bag and luggage because we will continue our journey to Prambanan temple which is one of the biggest Hindu temples in Indonesia. And also we will be visiting Sultan Palace, Tamansari Water Castle, and some great things to see and visit in Yogyakarta city.  Your lunch will be served during the trip; you will be invited to taste the local food at the local restaurant here. Around late afternoon, we will drive to your hotel in the Yogyakarta area.

DAY 3: ACCOMMODATION IN YOGYAKARTA – JOMBLANG CAVE – TIMANG BEACH – ACCOMMODATION IN YOGYAKARTA

Starting day 3 with a good vibe to explore around, we will pick you up around 7:00 am then we will drive around 1,5 hours to get to the last village of Jomblang Cave. Jomblang Cave is a special cave that has a big hole and when the sun is out around 11:00 am, we will see the magical light going down inside the cave. We will go down into the cave around 10:00 and the tour will be finished around 1:00 PM, you will get a lunch box here.

We will be about 1 hour from Jomblang cave to Timang Beach where you will do a Gondola trip. It’s kind of the most adventurous thing to do in Yogyakarta after Jomblang Cave. Be ready to get wet from the wave that hits the rocks.

We can also see the sunset here if you don’t mind being back at the hotel late. It will take 2 hours back to Hotel.
Back to your hotel and free leisure.

DAY 4: FREE LEISURE – TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

It’s your last in Yogyakarta, the program is only picking you up at the hotel and then escort you to the International Airport of Yogyakarta.

OPTIONAL: If your flight is in the evening, we can offer you the optional travel itinerary shopping city tour in the Yogyakarta area.
