TOUR ITINERARY

YOGYAKARTA – BOROBUDUR SUNRISE TOUR – YOGYAKARTA (3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS)

DAY 1: YOGYAKARTA – HOTEL IN BOROBUDUR AREA

Borobudur temple tour will be started from the Adisucipto airport in Yogyakarta, our staff will meet you at the airport then we will drive from Yogyakarta to your hotel Borobudur temple area for about 1,5 hours, upon your arrival in Borobudur temple area, you will be staying overnight there before you do Borobudur sunrise tour tomorrow morning.

DAY 2: BOROBUDUR SUNRISE TOURS – PAWON AND MENDUT TEMPLE – CHICKEN CHURCH – KALIADEM MERAPI JEEP ADVENTURE – HOTEL IN YOGYAKARTA AREA

About 4 o’clock in the morning, you will be picking up from your hotel in Borobudur temple area to Manohara hotel, in this hotel you need to register and buy the ticket. Watching a sunrise on Borobudur temple, it will be the most exclusive tour that you ever had.

About 4:30 am, you will be invited by your guide to walk up onto the Borobudur temple. It takes about 10 minutes walk, the guide will show you the best spot to catch the sunrise here, because most of our guide is qualified on this tour.  Around 7:00 am, when you have enjoyed the sunrise and Borobudur temple joyfully. You will be escort to go back to Manohara hotel to get some snacks and tea or coffee before you will go back to your hotel. Around 9:00 am, you should be ready with all you bag and luggage because we will continue our journey to Chicken Church, Pawon and Mendut Temple. Afterward we will drive around 1,5 hours to Merapi Mountain area to get our jeep for exploring the former of eruption with the old jeep here. Lunch will be served during the trip; you will be invited to taste the food at the local restaurant here. Around late afternoon, we will drive to your hotel in Yogyakarta area.

DAY 3: HOTEL IN YOGYAKARTA – SULTAN PALACE – TAMANSARI TEMPLE – PRAMBANAN TEMPLE – CYCLING AROUND PRAMBANAN – AIRPORT IN YOGYAKARTA

Around 8:00 am, we will escort you to visit the special palace in Yogyakarta, we called it Sultan Palace Yogyakarta, because Yogyakarta is led by the Sultan. Sultan has a big influence to the people in Yogyakarta. And Sultan Palace is one of the must-visit destination when you are in Yogyakarta, you will see where Sultan lives, old buildings, some collections from the past. After enjoying the Palace, we will invite you to visit Tamansari Water Castle, where Sultan enjoy the time with his empresses before. But now, this place is only used for tourist attraction.

Enough enjoying the water castle, we will drive to Prambanan temple, it’s one of the the biggest Hindu temple that was dedicated to Shiva on 10^th century. You will be amazed with the beautiful compound of this temple, because they didn’t use any cement and they put it orderly. After enjoying the temple, you can explore some temple nearby by Bike that we have prepared for you. When you have done biking in Prambanan area, we will escort you to the local restaurant before we drop you at the airport.
