Yogyakarta Adventure Tour

DAY 1: AIRPORT – HOTEL BOROBUDUR TEMPLE – STAYING OVERNIGHT

Our staff will pick you up at the Adisucipto International Airport in Yogyakarta, then we will escort you to your hotel in Borobudur temple area.

DAY 2: BOROBUDUR SUNRISE TOUR – DIENG WONOSOBO – STAYING OVERNIGHT

Around 4:00 am, we will pick you at the your hotel then we will head to Manoharo Hotel to get our ticket for watching the sunset at the top of Borobudur temple.

The sunrise tour in Borobudur temple will be finish around 7:30 am, we will be welcoming with the local snack and the special souvenir from Borobudur temple. Afterward, we will escort you back to  your hotel then have a breakfast and continue our trip to Dieng Plateau area. The journey will take around 2 hours. Upon your arrival in Dieng Plateau, we will make a stop in the most famous twin lake and Sikidang crater, it’s the most active sulfuric area, that you can see the boiling gas comes out from the ground. The most unique activity  here is you can boiled an egg here.

After enjoying  long journey from Borobudur area, we will escort you to your homestay before you do a morning trekking to Sikunir hill.

DAY 3: SUNIRSE IN SIKUNIR HILL – BUKIT PANDANG – HOTEL IN YOGYAKARTA (STAYING OVERNIGHT)

Waking up around 3:00 am, prepare yourself with warm clothes, trekking shoes. The trekking will take around an hour. When the sun rises, you will see a beautiful scenery around you. Sikunir hill is surrounded by some mountains. It makes your photos more amazing.

Back down to your homestay, have a breakfast and we will continue our trip to Bukit Pandang. Bukit Pandang is one of the most favorite spot for taking a great photo of the twin lakes.

After enjoying the view on the top of Bukit Pandang, we will escort you back to Yogyakarta area. It will take around 3 hours. Upon your arrival in Yogyakarta, you will have free time before we will continue our tour on the next day.

DAY 4: MERAPI JEEEP TOUR – UMBUL PONGGOK – PRAMBANAN TEMPLE TOUR – SUNSET IN RATU BOKO PALACE – RAMAYANA BALLET SHOW – HOTEL IN YOGYKARTA (STAYING OVERNIGHT)

Welcoming our tour on day 4 with a big feeling to do wild adventurein Yogyakarta, we will pick you up around 8:00 am then we will drive to Kaliadem village. Kaliadem village is the last village where we can use our normal car and change into an old strong jeep. We will ride the jeep to explore the former eruption of Mount Merapi that happened on 2010. Dust, water and dirt will be on our face. The tour will take around I, 5 hours.

After enjoying the adventurous activity, we will continue our trip to Umbul Ponggok in Klaten, it takes around 2 hours drive. Upon your arrival there, you can relax under the clean crystal water. Umbul Ponggok was a natural pond but now the local government made it bigger and put some stuff underneath, for example motorbikes, chair and many more. So, it’s very famous for underwater photo-shoot. After relaxing on Umbul Ponggok, we will go to one of the most famous temple after Borobudur. That is Prambanan Temple, it’s a Hindu temple that 300 years older than Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Immerse yourself into this ancient temple and learn the history here.

Then, we will continue our great day to Ratu Boko Temple, it’s still part of Borobudur and Prambanan temple, and it has very good historical story about them. Ratu Boko is very good to see a sunset, because it’s located on the top of the hill.

Note: For Ramayana Ballet Show in Prambanan Temple, we can not watch it everyday. It has a particular dates and it’s all depends your dates when you are in Yogyakarta.

DAY 5: HOTEL IN YOGYAKARTA – JOMBLANG CAVE TOUR – CAVING IN PINDUL CAVE – HOTEL IN YOGYAKARTA

Starting the day 5 with a good vibe to explore around, we will pick you up around 7:00 am then we will drive around 1,5 hours to get the last village of Jomblang Cave. Jomblang Cave is a special cave that has a big hole and when the sun out around 11:00 am, we will see the magical light goes down inside the cave. We will go down into the cave around 10:00 and the tour will be finished around 1:00 PM, you will get a lunch box here.

Next destination is Pindul Cave, it’s a unique cave that there is a river going through the cave and the tour is we will be floating with a car tire that already modified by a local. We can see the stalagmite and stalactite inside the cave, we can also jump into the water. It’s truly great experience for you.

DAY 6: HOTEL IN YOGYAKARTA – TIMANG BEACH – SEA SAND DUNES IN GUMUK PASIR PARANGKUSUMO – PARANGTRITIS BEACH (Sunset Point)

After having a breakfast around 7:00 am, we will escort you to the most adventurous activity in this town. We will go to Timang Beach, Timang beach is a just ordinary beach with white sand. But it has a small rocky island that we can visit by traditional zip line. When you are taking the zip line, you will be screamed out when the wave come strongly and hit the rock around you.
Feeling like you need more adventurous activity, we will take you the most famous sand dunes near Parangtritis Beach, in this sand dunes you can do sand boarding. It’s very safe o try because the sand is very soft.

And the last activity for today is riding a local cart to explore Parangtritis Beach while watching a great sunset here.

DAY 7: HOTEL IN YOGYAKARTA – MANGUNAN FRUIT GARDENS – JURANG KANIGORO – KALIBIRU PARK

On the day 7, we will start earlier than other day, we will start from your hotel in Yogyakarta around 3;00 am, we will drive around 2 hours more less to Mangunan Fruit Gardens. The best time to visit this place is early morning when the sun just rise up and you still can see the cloud around the area. We will have outdoor breakfast with a great view here.

After enjoying the view on Mangunan Fruit Garden, we will go to our next destination. That is Jurang Kanigoro, it’s a beautiful cliff that has an amazing landscapes. It’s very picturesque.

Next destination is Kalibiru Park, it’s the most famous area that you can see on internet than everybody went here and upload their photos. It makes the place more famous. But to get this place we must drive little bit long due to it’s located at the South west part of Yogyakarta.

DAY 8: HOTEL IN YOGYAKARTA – SULTAN PALACE – TAMANASARI WATER CASTLE – SHOPPING IN MALIOBORO STREET – FREE LEISURE (SPA, MASSAGE)

On the 8^th day of our journey to discover the beauty of Yogyakarta, we will start the tour around 9:00 by visiting Sultan Palace, it’s one of the historical site in Yogyakarta that has a uniqueness comparing other cities in Indonesia. Sultan is still lead this town until now, and he has a big influence to local life. That’s why you should visit this palace during your holiday in Yogyakarta. It takes around an hour to explore around.

Next destination is Tamansari Water castle, Before it was a great place for Sultan to enjoy the sunny day with swimming at the pool here. It’s still has connection with the building in Sultan Palace. It’s great place as well to capture epic photos.

Around afternoon, after having late lunch, we will send you to Malioboro Street. This is the most crowded place that all the tourists (local or foreigners) to do shopping. To do shopping here is not easy, you need to increase your bargain skill to get the best price.

DAY 9: TRANSFER TO AIRPORT

We will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Adisucipto airport in Yogyakarta.
