DAY 1: BALI – ACCOMMODATION IN MOUNT BROMO
On the first day of the trip, we will be driving for about 10 hours until we reach our hotel in the Mount Bromo area.
Our driver in Bali will pick you up at your hotel in Bali at 7 am then he will drive from your hotel in Bali (Kuta, Jimbaran, Canggu, Sanur, Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Ubud) to Gilimanuk Ferry Harbor on the west part of Bali, and it will take about 4 hours’ drive. If you are staying in Pemuteran (30 minutes) or Lovina beach (2 hours), it will be shorter.

Upon your arrival in the harbor, you will be welcomed by our guide who is ready to accompany you to take a ferry to reach Ketapang ferry port (Java Island side), the ferry will take about 1-1,5 hours.

Upon your arriving in Then, we will take our Java Island car for driving to the Mount Bromo area, it will take about 5-6 hours until you reach your accommodation in Mount Bromo.

DAY 2: BROMO SUNRISE TOUR – ACCOMMODATION IN LUMAJANG AREA / TUMPAK SEWU WATERFALL AREA
On the second day of the trip, we will start at about 3:30 am and drive by a jeep to King Kong hill about 40 minutes away. Upon your arrival here, you will be required to wait about an hour until the sun rises and the sunrise is about 5:30 am here. There are many coffee shops around, so you can have coffee or tea to make your body warmer.

When the sun rises from the east, you will see a great view of Mount Bromo and its surroundings such as Mount Batok, Mount Kursi, the village of Cemoro Lawang, and the tallest volcano of Mount Semeru as the background.

After enjoying the sunrise here, we will escort you to the Sea of sand before trekking to the crater rim of Mount Bromo. The trekking to the crater rim takes about 45 minutes but you can also take a horse for about 10 minutes only. The cost for a horse is only 150.000 IDR.

Upon your arrival at the crater rim of Mount Bromo, you will see the hole of fire that produces sulfuric smoke every time and is even thicker in the special time of Volcanic activity. After enjoying the view here, we will back to our hotel for having breakfast, take a shower, and continue to our next destination in Lumajang town/ the village near the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall area where you will be staying overnight before visiting Tumpak Sewu Waterfall on the next morning.

Note: If you stay in Lumajang Town, you will need to drive about 1H50M for reaching the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall but if you stay at the local homestay near the waterfall, you will be needed only 5 minutes to reach the waterfall. 

DAY 3: TUMPAK SEWU WATERFALL – ACCOMMODATION IN BANYUWANGI AREA
On the third day of the trip, If you stay in the homestay near the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall area, we can start the trip at 7/8 am, but the earlier the better. Because the best time to visit the waterfall is 6-9 am only, moreover the waterfall is 5 minutes away. That is the benefit of staying at the local homestay here.

But if you chose to stay at the hotel in Lumajang Town, you will start at 5 am (directly check out from the hotel). We will treat you to a local breakfast (mostly rice/noodles) and coffee morning at the local shop near the waterfall area or you can have a breakfast box from the hotel when it’s possible. From Lumajang Town to Waterfall will take about 1h50m until you reach the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Upon your arrival there, you will walk a bit to Panorama’s point which shows you the amazing view from the top. If you have a drone, this is a must place to be captured drone. Because the aerial view is so amazing.

After enjoying the view, we will accompany you to go down and enjoy the waterfall from the bottom, but make sure you have good slippers or wet shoes. It’s so slippery and wet.

The whole trekking and enjoying the view here will take 3-4 hours, so you will be satisfied here. When you get back to the top again, we will escort you to the next destination which is Banyuwangi Town (Ijen Crater area). It will take about 6 hours drive, make sure you have enough rest in the car until your arrival at your accommodation in Banyuwangi.

DAY 4: IJEN CRATER TOUR – TRANSFER BACK TO YOUR PLACE IN BALI

On the last day of the trip, we will be starting at midnight because we will see the famous natural phenomenon of blue fire. This natural phenomenon can be seen in 2 in the world in Indonesia (ijen Crater) and Ethiopia (Dallol Volcano). So, it will be super amazing.

It will take an hour’s drive from your hotel to the start point of the trekking and it will take about 2 hours away until you reach the blue fire point. The track 1,5 hours from the start point is quite fine with the trekking path but when you are going down into the blue fire point, it will be super rocky and slippery.

Just for your information: Blue fire point is located in the mining area, so there are sulfur miners that will pass by, so please follow our guide for your safety.

To reach the Blue fire point is not easy, you can also get the sulfuric smoke that goes in our direction, it’s super bad such as a rotten egg smell. So, make sure you are ready for any risk.

After enjoying the blue fire point, we will invite you to go up to View Point which is located on the top of the crater rim, so you must walk up for about an hour. The view on the top of the crater rim is so beautiful, so it will pay for your walk.
Ijen Crater has one of the biggest sulfuric lakes in Asia, it has also turquoise color with high acidity (0,5 Ph.)

After enjoying the view here at about 7 am, we will go back to our car and drive back to the hotel for having breakfast and get some rest. At 11:30 am, we will be ready to take you to go the ferry port for taking a ferry. The ferry will take about an hour. Upon your arrival on Bali Side, you will be meeting with our driver who is ready to drive you to your hotel in Bali.
