OUTLINE ITINERARY HIKING MOUNT RINJANI PACKAGE 4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS VIA SEMBALUN LAWANG AND BROMO IJEN TOUR FROM SURABAYA 3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS:

DAY 1: Bali Airport – Lombok Airport – Senaru Village (one night stay in homestay here)

DAY 2: Sembalun Lawang Village – Overnight in campsite Plawangan Sembalun Crater Rim (2639 m).

DAY 3: Plawangan Sembalun Crater Rim (2639 m) – Summit of Mount Rinjani – Staying Overnight at the Lake of Segara Anak (2000 m)

DAY 4: The Lake of Segara Anak – Plawangan Senaru Crater – Senaru Village – Staying Overnight in Senaru village (Rinjani Trekking Trip is Finished)

DETAILED ITINERARY FOR HIKING AND TREKKING IN MOUNT RINJANI VIA SEMBALUN LAWANG
(4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS)

DAY 1: BALI AIRPORT – LOMBOK AIRPORT – SENARU VILLAGE (HOMESTAY )

We will meet you and your friends in your hotel in Bali and escort you to the airport in Bali to take a flight to Lombok International Airport, we will drive from Airport towards Senaru Village about 2 – 3 hours driving. Then, we will be staying in a homestay on the slope of Mount Rinjani, Senaru Village. The temperature reaches 10 – 12 degrees Celsius during the night.

OPTIONAL TOUR: IF YOU REACH LOMBOK AIRPORT IN THE MORNING,  WE CAN ARRIVE AT THE SENARU VILLAGE BEFORE DARK AND YOU CAN VISIT SENDANG GILE + TIU KELEP WATERFALL BUT YOU NEED TO HIRE A LOCAL GUIDE HERE, TO MAKE YOU SAFE TO REACH THE WATERFALL, AND THE COST WILL BE AT YOUR OWN. LET US KNOW IF YOU WANT TO VISIT THE WATERFALL, SO WE CAN INCLUDE IT IN THE FINAL PRICE.

DAY 2: SENARU – SEMBALUN LAWANG – NIGHT AT PLAWANGAN SEMBALUN CRATER RIM (2639M) (B, L, D)

After having breakfast around 07.00 AM, we are going to drive to Rinjani Trekking Centre for registering ourselves via Sembalun Lawang village and it will take an hour drive. After registering ourselves, we will start to walk for around 2 hours then we will be arrived at Post 1 and rest for a few minutes. We will be arriving at Post 2, bypassing Savanna Grass Tall. Then, we arrived around 01.00 PM at Post 3, preparing to cook for lunch which was presented by our guide and porter.

After having lunch at about 01.00 PM, we are going to hike the fairly high hill, After about three hours of climbing we reached the Plawangan Sembalun Crater at 2639 meters altitude. at 04.00 PM, or 05.00 PM in the afternoon has arrived at the mid-body Plawangan Sembalun Mount Rinjani with an altitude of 2639 meters, we are in aid of porters set up tents, and prepare dinner from our guide cuisine, staying overnight in the tents.

DAY 3: PLAWANGAN SEMBALUN CRATER RIM (2639M) – SUMMIT MOUNT RINJANI (3726M) – STAYING OVERNIGHT AT THE LAKE OF SEGARA ANAK ALTITUDE (2000M) (B, L, D)

Wake up at 1.30 AM in the morning to enjoy breakfast banana pancakes or toast, coffee/tea, then we are going to the summit of Mount Rinjani lasted about 3 – 5 hours, a field trip to the summit and weight quite tiring, deserts, craters, and canyons that seem unfounded, will force the adrenaline walking up during the 3-5 hour trip, so we recommend wearing spectacles avoid splashing the sand and thick sweater if for beginners to the top have to walk slowly after we reached the summit of Mount Rinjani 3.726m.

At approximately around 06:00 AM, you will be able to see the incredible scenery, as you can see all parts of the island of Lombok. You can even see the incredible of Mount Tambora and Mount Agung in Bali, and also some small islands called Gili around the island of Lombok. After enjoying the view from the top of the highest volcano on Lombok Island, we will return to the tent on Plawangan Sembalun Crater (2639 m). After having breakfast at approximately 09.00 AM in the morning, we continue our journey down to Lake Segara Anak and it will take 3-4 hours to the lake. The fast climbers had to descend a rocky slope with a slope around of 35 degrees.

Arriving at Lake around 01.00 AM, you will see the great of volcano activity here on Lake Segara Anak. Mount Baru Jari, looks so beautiful although it is so active and it is located in the middle of Lake Segara Anak. After having lunch around the lake, we are going to the hot spring for taking a bath there or just to relax. The hot water bath is believed to cure all diseases, especially skin diseases, rheumatism, etc.

Afterward back to the tent and enjoy the fishing activity of the porter or other visitors. About 05.00 PM, you can enjoy the sunset and the beauty of its surroundings, enjoy the activities at night, make a campfire, enjoy the stars, singing and other activities, which are available for dinner and stay overnight in the tents at the Lake of Segara Anak.

DAY 4: LAKE SEGARA ANAK – PLAWANGAN SENARU CRATER – SENARU VILLAGE (B,L)

After having breakfast at 06.00 AM, then we climb again to reach Plawangan Senaru crater for around 3 hours, resting at Plawangan Senaru Crater and taking pictures around Plawangan Senaru crater (2,641 meters). From the rim of the crater looks stretched wide lake views Segara Anak (2,000 m). Then, we continue our last journey to Senaru village. It takes 5 until 6 hours (depending on our pace). Afterward, we are going to your homestay in the Senaru area for an enjoyable stay here.

ATTENTION:

The Mount Rinjani Trekking Tour requires you to have a good level of fitness and the ability to walk a long distance, if there is someone in your group who has mountain sickness or height phobia and asthma are not allowed to join this tour. Individual or group departures are available upon request, we can customize any date based on request with a minimum of 2 persons in each group. There are two types of service to choose Deluxe or Standard Budget service, for example for the deluxe package, there will be more porters or guides who will carry your private backpack, so you will just carry almost nothing with you.

ABOUT OUR PORTER:

Our porter will carry food, tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, tarpaulins, and kitchen tools are included, the porters are all very fit to bring all stuff to mount Rinjani reach 20 kilos, and not include carrying your bag to the porter, When the guest are 2 people as climbers, we use 2 porters and 1 guide (it can be more when there is a new request from clients)

If you want to bring luggage the personal items to Mount Rinjani by our porter then there are extra porters, additional cost extra porter fee is IDR 250,000 per porter/ day, the Porter will follow you during the trekking, and payment can be paid after climbing activities directly to the porter. This request must be ordered a week before the trip.

ABOUT YOUR BAGGAGE:

Your luggage will be stored securely in our office or the accommodation where you stay, after the climbing activity, your luggage will be taken back by our coordinators, and please check again your luggage before you leave the place.

DAY 5: SENARU VILLAGE – LOMBOK AIRPORT – SURABAYA AIRPORT – PICK UP SERVICE FROM SURABAYA – HOTEL IN MOUNT BROMO AREA

On the last day of the trip, we will let you wake up until 9 am, and then around 11:00 am, we will go to Lombok Airport to take our afternoon flight at 15:40 to Surabaya. In about an hour, you will be arriving in Surabaya at 15:45 (java time), and our team from Java, will pick you up and drive you to your booked accommodation in the Mount Bromo area for about 3 hours.

DAY 6: MOUNT BROMO TOUR – HOTEL IN IJEN CRATER AREA (BANYUWANGI)

The Bromo sunrise tour will be started around 3.30 AM (when you come to Mount Bromo on the weekend, we have to start the tour earlier), the jeep will bring you to the most famous viewpoint in Mount Bromo area. That is Penanjakan hill, from the hill we can see the best sunrise in East Java with mountains and volcanoes as a background. Afterward, the jeep will continue your adventure holiday to reach the sea of sands in the Mount Bromo area. We will stop at the parking area then you will cross the sea of sands by riding a horse or on foot (it is optional) till reach the stairs at the slope of Mount Bromo where it will lead you to reach the peak of Mt. Bromo.

After enjoying the volcanic activity on the top of Mount Bromo, you have to go back to your jeep then the jeep will bring you back to the hotel for breakfast, take shower, pack, loading bags into our car afterward we will continue our trip to your Hotel in Ijen Crater area for about 5-6 hours. In this route, we will pass rural landscapes, small cities, rice fields, plantations, and coastlines.

Lunch will be served on the way to the local restaurant. About at late afternoon or in the early evening, we will be reaching your hotel in the Ijen Crater area which is only an hour away from Ijen Crater. You will be staying overnight here before you enjoy Ijen Crater trekking the next morning.

DAY 7: IJEN CRATER TOUR – BALI

Ijen crater tour on day 3 will be started at about 5.00 AM, our car will bring us to the village of Licin and then continue to the slope of Ijen Crater, you will be passing through the plantations and rainforest. This is one of few remaining on the island of Java with giant ferns, plants & big trees. This journey takes approximately an hour from the hotel.

Arriving at the parking area of Ijen Crater, about 1 to 1.5 hours will be required to hike Ijen Crater. Along the walking path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air and birds singing. Upon your arrival at the peak of Ijen Crater with an altitude of about 2385 mAsl.

You will be amazed at the enchanting panorama of Ijen Crater; it has a lake of acid water where the water changes to be turquoise color. The view will be so picturesque when you take a photo from above the crater. Besides the view, you will see the sulfur miners who go down into the crater to take the yellow sulfur rock and climb back up by passing a dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with a load of as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous and hard job. After enjoying the enchanting scenery at Crater of Ijen Crater then we will go down to the parking area where our car is waiting for escorting you to the plantations (coffee and clove) before the town of Banyuwangi.

Afterward, we will be back to the town of Banyuwangi for going back to Hotel and take our bags then we will drive to Ketapang Ferry Port then take a ferry to reach Gilimanuk Ferry Port at the most western tip of Bali Island. Upon arrival in Gilmanuk Ferry port, we will escort you to your hotel in Bali (Lovina, Pemuteran, Ubud, Denpasar, Kuta, Canggu, or Jimbaran).
