BROMO IJEN TOUR FROM YOGYAKARTA TO BALI (3D2N)

TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: YOGYAKARTA – ACCOMMODATION IN MOUNT BROMO AREA

Yogyakarta to Bromo will start at about 7 AM, our staff will meet you at your hotel in Yogyakarta and then we start to drive to Mount Bromo area for about 7-9 hours with stops. Upon your arrival in the Mt Bromo area, we will escort you to the accommodations in Mount Bromo area for an enjoyable stay before you do a tour in Mount Bromo on the next morning

IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you dont want to drive whole way from Yogyakarta to Mount Bromo, we can offer train ticket which starts at 6:45 am and arrives in Surabaya on 10:45 am then drive to Mount Bromo for about 3 hours.

DAY 2: MOUNT BROMO TOUR – ACCOMMODATION IN BANYUWANGI AREA

The Bromo sunrise tour will be started around at 3:30 AM (when you come to Mount Bromo on the weekend, we have to start the tour earlier), the jeep will bring you to the most famous viewpoint in the Mount Bromo area. That is Penanjakan hill, from the hill we can see the best sunrise in East Java with mountains and volcanoes as a background. Afterward, the jeep will continue your adventure holiday to reach the sea of sands in Mount Bromo area. We will stop at the parking area then you will cross the sea of sands by riding a horse or on foot (it is optional) till reaching the stairs at the slope of Mount Bromo which will lead you to reach the peak of Mt. Bromo. After enjoying the volcanic activity on the top of Mount Bromo, you have to go back to your jeep then the jeep will bring you back to the hotel for breakfast, take shower, pack up, loading bags into our car afterward we will continue our trip to your Hotel in Ijen Crater area for about 5-6 hours. On this route, we will pass rural landscapes, small cities, rice fields, plantations, and beaches. Lunch will be served on the way to the local restaurant.

About in the late afternoon or early evening, we will be reaching your hotel in the Ijen Crater area which is only an hour away from Ijen Crater. You will be staying overnight here before you enjoy Ijen Crater trekking the next morning.

DAY 3: IJEN CRATER TOUR – YOUR HOTEL IN BALI AREA

The Ijen crater tour will be started at about 5:00 AM, our car will bring us to the village of Licin and then continue to the slope of Ijen Crater, you will be passing through the plantations and rainforest. This is one of few remaining on the island of Java with giant ferns, plants & big trees. This journey takes approximately an hour from the hotel. Arriving at the parking area of Ijen Crater, about 1 to 1.5 hours will be required to hike Ijen Crater. Along the walking path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air and birds singing. Upon your arrival on the peak of Ijen Crater with an altitude of about 2385 mAsl. You will be amazed at the enchanting panorama of Ijen Crater; it has a lake of acid water where the water changes to be turquoise color. The view will be so picturesque when you take a photo from above the crater. Besides the view, you will see the sulfur miners who go down into the crater to take the yellow sulfur rock and climb back up by passing a dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with a load of as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders and this is really a dangerous and hard job. After enjoying the enchanting scenery at Crater of Ijen Crater then we will go down to the parking area where our car is waiting for escorting you to the plantations (coffee and clove) before the town of Banyuwangi. Afterward, we will be back to the town of Banyuwangi for going back to Hotel and take our bags then we will drive to Ketapang Ferry Port and then take a ferry to reach Gilimanuk Ferry Port at the western tip of Bali Island. Upon arrival at Gilmanuk Ferry port, our Bali driver will escort you to your hotel in the Bali area. TOUR’S SERVICES FINISHED.

OPTIONALPROGRAM:
If the weather is good enough and you have still in good condition, you will have the chance to see the blue flame or blue fire & the sunrise at Ijen Crater but you are required to leave from the Homestay around 00:30 AM or Midnight. Please check the picture of the blue fire at Ijen Crater on the Internet and the blue fire is included, no additional cost needed.
