TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 1: Pick up service from Bali – Accommodation in Mount Bromo area

Bromo ijen tour from Bali will start at about 8:00 AM (Balinese timezone), our staff will pick you up from your hotel in the Bali area (Ubud, Lovina, Canggu, Kuta, Denpasar, or Jimbaran), and then we will drive to Gilimanuk ferry port. Afterward, we will take the ferry for about an hour to reach Ketapang Ferry Port. Then, we will escort you to a local restaurant for lunch and then continue our trip to Mount Bromo to overlook the active volcano of Mount Bromo. It will take about a 5-6 hour drive to Mount Bromo area. Upon your arrival in the Mount Bromo area, we will escort you to your hotel in the Mount Bromo area for an enjoyable stay before you do the Bromo sunrise tour the next morning.

Day 2: Mount Bromo Tour – Accommodation in the Banyuwangi area (Ijen Crater)

The Mount Bromo tour will start around at 3:30 AM (when you come to Mount Bromo on the weekend, we have to start the tour earlier), the jeep will bring you to the most famous viewpoint in the Mount Bromo area. That is Penanjakan Hill, from the hill we can see the best sunrise in East Java with mountains and volcanoes as a background. Afterward, the jeep will continue your adventure holiday to reach the sea of sands in the Mount Bromo area. We will stop at the parking area then you will cross the sea of sands by riding a horse or on foot (it is optional) till reaching the stairs at the slope of Mount Bromo which will lead you to reach the peak of Mt. Bromo. After enjoying the volcanic activity on the top of Mount Bromo, you have to go back to your jeep then the jeep will bring you back to the hotel for breakfast, take a shower, pack up, loading bags into our car afterward we will continue our trip to your Hotel in Ijen Crater area for about 5-6 hours. On this route, we will pass rural landscapes, small cities, rice fields, plantations, and beaches. Lunch will be served on the way to the local restaurant. In the late afternoon or early evening, we will be reaching your hotel in the Ijen Crater area (Banyuwangi town) which is only an hour away from Ijen Crater. You will be staying overnight here before you enjoy Ijen Crater trekking the next morning.

Day 3: Ijen Crater Tour – Your Hotel in the Bali area

The Ijen Crater tour will start at about 4:00 AM, our car will take us to the village of Licin and then continue to the slope of Ijen Crater,  this journey takes approximately an hour from the hotel. Arriving at the parking area of Ijen Crater (1850m), about 1, 5 hours will be required to hike Ijen Crater. Along the walking path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air and birds singing. Upon your arrival on the peak of Ijen Crater with an altitude of about 2386 ml. You will be amazed at the enchanting panorama of Ijen Crater; it has a lake of acid water where the water changes to be turquoise color. The view will be so picturesque when you take a photo from above the crater. Besides the view, you will see the sulfur miners who go down into the crater to take the yellow sulfur rock and climb back up by passing a dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with a load of as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders.

OPTIONAL PROGRAM:

If the weather is good enough and you are still a good condition, you can take the Ijen Blue Fire tour at Ijen Crater but you are required to leave the Homestay or Hotel around 00:30 AM or Midnight. Please check the picture of the blue fire at Ijen Crater on the Internet. Moreover, the tour includes this program, so there is no additional cost for this.

This is really a dangerous and hard job. After enjoying the enchanting scenery at Crater of Ijen Crater then we will go down to the parking area where our car is waiting to escort you to the plantations (coffee and clove) before the town of Banyuwangi. Afterward, we will be back to the town of Banyuwangi to go back to the Hotel and take our bags then we will drive to Ketapang Ferry Port and then take a ferry to reach Gilimanuk Ferry Port at the western tip of Bali Island. Upon arrival at Gilmanuk Ferry port, we will escort you to your hotel in the Bali area (Canggu, Ubud, Seminyak, etc). TOUR’S SERVICES FINISHED.
