BROMO TUMPAK SEWU TOUR FROM SURABAYA 3D2N

This is 3 days tour that is designed for travelers who want to visit Mount Bromo and Tumpak Sewu Waterfall within 3 days and 2 nights. As we all know that Tumpak Sewu waterfall is a stunning waterfall located in East Java between Malang and L, known for its tiered cascades and picturesque views. On the other hand, Mount Bromo is an active volcano, it’s known for its fascinating sunrise views and hiking trails. After we visited these 2 destinations, we can be finished at Surabaya or Bali Island, you should let us know where will be your dropping address.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Surabaya – Jodipan Rainbow Village Malang – Tumpak Sewu Waterfall area

On the first day of the tour, we highly recommend starting before 9 am. From Surabaya, we will drive for about 3-4 hours, and along the way, we will take the local highway upon our arrival in Malang town, we will stop a bit at Jodipan Colorful village. In this place, you can see the whole graffiti and view of Malang town itself.

Upon your arrival in Tumpak Sewu village, you will stay at the local accommodations, there are no such luxury hotels or big minimarts. It’s just a village with its uniqueness.

If you reach before 3 pm here, we can add another activity, for example visiting another waterfall, Kapas Biru Waterfall, which is also a beautiful waterfall, and very relaxing to sit and enjoy the sound of the water.

Day 2: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall Tour – Goa Tetes – Transfer to Bromo area

The tour of Tumpak Sewu waterfall will be started early morning at 6 am, the earlier the better, why? Because it will be fewer people and more beautiful, sometimes you can see the fog around the waterfall and the majestic Mount Semeru in the background.

The whole tour here takes about 3 hours and you can add Goa Tetes if on this trip. After the trip, we will continue our trip to the Mount Bromo area and drive for about 4 hours.

Day 3: Bromo Tour – Transfer to Banyuwangi then Transfer to your hotel in Bali

On the last day of the trip, we will start at 3:30 am from your accommodation and drive to the sunrise point which is Kingkong Hill, and then wait until the sun rises at 5:30 am.

In the area, you can find a toilet and a coffee/tea shop where you can warm your body up. The area is not so big, so we recommend securing your spot when the time at 5:00. The temperature during the sunrise is about 9-11.

At about 7 am, we will go back to our jeep and drive to the sea of sand, and start to hike Mount Bromo which will take about 45 minutes. Afterward, we will go back to your accommodations for breakfast and then be ready to hit the road again to reach your hotel in the Bali area.

First, we will drive to Banyuwangi town, which takes about 5-6 hours until you reach Ketapang Ferry port, from here you will take a ferry for about 1h30m. Upon your arrival in Bali Side, our Balinese driver is ready to escort you to your hotel in the Bali area.

NOTE: If you don’t want to drive too long, we recommend ending in the Surabaya area which is only 3 hours away from the Bromo area.
